Céu is one of the most gifted animation artists I have ever known and worked with. We co-created Planeta Terra with Flavio del Carlo and about 30 Brazilian animators for the 1986 UN International Year of Peace, shaped by Céu’s bold, timeless creative vision. After following his successful career at international studios in the 1990s, I watched him transition into independent work, where he leverages his mastery of drawing to produce deeply purposeful material.
